Your gifts keep the cost of care affordable for families affected by memory loss in our community. Care for a loved one with dementia is an unexpected expense for every family. With your help, those with dementia can have their Best Days Ever. Donate today, and know that you are making days and making a difference.
Client families pay about half of what is needed to operate the Center. We have to raise $798,000 each year to make up the difference. That’s $3,192 each weekday just to fund the budget. How to Give
Online – It’s secure and easy! Make your gift go further by adding 3% to help us cover the credit card processing fees.
Check – Send and make checks payable to Page Robbins Adult Day Center, 1961 South Houston Levee Road, Collierville, TN 38017. Donations can be made in honor or memory of a person or event. Just be sure to include that information with your check
Donor-Advised Fund – A donor-advised fund provides a great pocket from which to make charitable gifts.
Creative Ways to Give
Dedicate a Milestone
Ask friends and family to donate to Page Robbins in honor of your special day (birthday, wedding, anniversary, etc.). Just be sure to let us know, so we can thank you and help you celebrate the day.
Host a Pop-Up Party
Host a small gathering at your home or business. Invite friends for coffee and dessert, wine and cheese, or brunch to learn more about Page Robbins and how they can get involved.
Attend an Event
Attend or sponsor a fundraising event. You can see a list of those fundraisers on the Events tab of our website.
Appreciated Stock
Donating appreciated securities, including stocks or bonds, is an easy and tax-effective way for you to make a gift. Donating stocks that have increased in value may mean you can avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase, and you can receive a charitable deduction for the full value of your gift.
Retirement Assets
You can make a gift of your unused retirement assets to help further our mission. This includes IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension, or other tax-deferred plan. To leave any portion of your retirement assets, you will need to complete a beneficiary designation form provided by your retirement plan custodian.
Required Minimum Distribution
If you are 72 or older, the age at which you are required to take a minimum distribution, you can direct that to Page Robbins. If the distribution goes straight from the plan manager to a nonprofit, it will not be counted as taxable income. You can transfer up to $100,000 as an individual or $200,000 as a couple filing jointly.
Will
Gifts from wills are extremely meaningful. Let us be a part of your legacy. This is often done by simply writing a codicil, or amendment, to your will. To make Page Robbins a beneficiary of your will, you need to provide your attorney with our legal name and tax ID: Page-Robbins Adult Day Services, Inc., 62-1608458.
Life Insurance
You can gift a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose or purchase a new policy and make Page Robbins the beneficiary. We can cash the policy for its current value, or you can make tax-deductible annual gifts to Page Robbins to cover the premiums.
Other Planned Gifts
Page Robbins may be listed as a charitable beneficiary in charitable trusts. You may also wish to give real estate, farmland, or homes. This will be handled with the assistance of professional advisors.
