About our Keynote Speaker
Ashley Stevens – Dementia Guru, MSW, LCSW, CDP
Ashley Stevens, MSW, LCSW, is a gerontologist, licensed clinical social worker, dementia educator, and founder of The Dementia Guru. For more than 16 years, she has supported caregivers and families navigating dementia, aging, and the realities of care.
Ashley’s journey into this work began when Alzheimer’s disease touched her own family, shaping both her personal and professional path. Today, she combines clinical expertise, lived experience, and practical strategies to help caregivers better understand dementia, navigate family dynamics, and feel less alone in the caregiving journey.
Through speaking, training, consulting, and digital education, Ashley has reached thousands of caregivers and professionals across the country. She is known for translating complex dementia concepts into relatable, everyday understanding and creating spaces where caregivers feel seen, supported, and empowered.
