About our Keynote Speaker
Carrie Aalberts – Dementia Darling, MS, BS, CDP, CMDCP
Carrie Aalberts, also known as Dementia Darling, holds a Master of Science degree specializing in Gerontology and has devoted her career to advocating for the dementia community. Her journey in caregiving began at an intergenerational adult day center and progressed to roles within memory care and assisted living facilities. In an effort to combat isolation among dementia caregivers, Carrie established Dementia Darling on social media. She is recognized as a thought leader in the field of dementia care, renowned internationally for her compassionate approach to education.
