Community Engagement Coordinator
Reports To: Development and Communications Director
Full-time 40 hr./week Salaried, Entry Level Position

The Community Engagement Coordinator will coordinate events and programs designed to raise funds for and promote awareness of Page Robbins Adult Day Center. Key responsibilities include coordination of events, creation of social media strategy and content, and engagement of community partners and volunteers.

Special Event Responsibility Highlights:

  • Implement, plan, and execute all special events – fundraising, appreciation, and cultivation
    Fulfill event budgets
  • Manage event volunteers
  • Solicit sponsorships and in-kind donations
  • Coordinate event-related communications and marketing
  • Process registration and donations through event software

Communications Responsibility Highlights:

  • Maintain and broaden social media presence (mainly Facebook and Instagram)
  • Manage website content
  • Contribute to creative content for marketing/communications: take photos and video, write articles, etc.

Volunteer and Donor Engagement Responsibility Highlights:

  • Help volunteers get acquainted and plugged into Page Robbins
  • Facilitate a monthly, hour-long volunteer orientation
  • Attend monthly board meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners
  • Be involved in community and professional organizations

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $30,000/year, negotiable based on experience and salary history
While Page Robbins does not offer health insurance, we do offer the following benefits:

The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
Experience with special events, fundraising, volunteer management, and communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Social media and computer proficient
Highly Organized
Ready to learn new skills
Excited about being a part of the mission of Page Robbins Adult Day Center

Requirements
High school and/or college diploma
Pass a fingerprint background check and drug screen
