Nurse

Reports To: Executive Director
Full-time 40 hr./week Salaried Position
Yearly Salary: $60,000 +/- based on qualifications and experience

Page Robbins Adult Day Center is looking for a Nurse to join our team. The Nurse supervises our care staff and works closely with client families to ensure the overall health and happiness of each client.

Nurse Responsibility Highlights

  • Supervises 8-10 care assistants (Care assistants lead our daily activities and provide personal care.)
  • Schedules care assistants to ensure the center is properly staffed throughout the day
  • Schedules client makeup days (In the event of a special circumstance or illness, client families can request attendance on a non-contracted day.)
  • Monitors clients for physical and behavioral changes
  • Communicates with client families about client health and behavior
  • Participates in new client assessments and ADLs
  • Charts
  • Provides medication assistance
  • Tracks employee education hours
  • Hosts nursing students (Nursing students visit Page Robbins in small groups for a one-day rotation to take a tour and learn more about memory loss and adult day centers.)

The Ideal Candidate

  • RN strongly preferred
  • Experience successfully supervising a team of employees
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia
  • Passionate about working with seniors and adults with memory loss
  • Works with integrity and creativity
  • Provides dignified care and respects and values all people
  • Positive, patient, engaging, and encouraging

Compensation and Benefits
Yearly Salary: $60,000 +/- based on qualifications and experience

Page Robbins Adult Day Center is a non-profit day center that provides daytime care for individuals with memory loss and the frail elderly. We are located at 1961 S. Houston Levee Rd. in Collierville, TN. Our mission is to provide unique and uplifting daytime care for adults with memory loss, in a safe environment, while empowering and educating their caregivers and the community. Memory loss is sad, but this is not a sad place! Page Robbins is open Monday to Friday, 6 am to 6 pm.
